This Call for Innovations is designed to address barriers to enable the production of more food with efficient and sustainable usage of water and energy along the value chain from farming to end-user, to impact food security, gender and poverty reduction in an environmentally sustainable way.  The Call for Innovations describes the purpose of the program and the types of activities that it will fund; indicates the process for preparing and submitting concept note and proposal; and outlines criteria for their evaluation. Through this competition, Water and Energy for Food anticipates to disburse between €50,000 and  €500,000 in award funding (TA and Grants) for East Africa.


In this context, we are looking for Service Providers to support selected Innovators across the 7 countries: Ethiopia, Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, Tanzania, Somalia and Malawi.
